To represent various sports organizations and universities in the United States, the term Swoop is used. However, in the football arena, one of the most famous mascots used by the National Football League team that wears the Eagles jackets is also known as Swoop.
Since the word swoop generally means to fly down or to take the plunge, the Swoop character is mostly depicted as an American Bald Eagle or some type of bird wearing a sports jersey, well representing the Philadelphia Eagles. But because the name Swoop is way too general and popular for that matter, there are several different American universities that uses the same name.
In the weekly Philadelphia Eagles Kids Club television show, Swoop regularly appears as an animated character and shows off beautiful NFL jackets during the National Football League regular season. The animated version of Swoop since its 2005 debut has been serving as a host of this show.
In the Shop Commercial of the National Football League, Swoop made a cameo appearance where a thief disguised as a kangaroo mascot tried to steal Philadelphia Eagles sports jackets from the locker room after a game. The kangaroo tried to escape but the security guards caught it when Swoop walked into the locker room .
The mascot that represents Eastern Michigan University is also nmaed Swoop. The athletics teams nickname is known as the Eagles.
Swoop is also the name of their mascot in Eastern Washington University Eagles, . Swoop in all sporting events and other gatherings, he makes many appearances .
Their mascot in Emory Univeristy, is named Swoop who also routinely makes appearances at various athletic events. Further, in Miami University, Swoop can be found at most sporting events.
Swoop is the universal name used by American teams from different universities or organizations. This simply means how united American people are in the dreams, work and desire.
The mascot for Philadelphia Eagles named Swoop represents not only the football team, but the whole community and residents of United States.
